Details

Emergency Door Release (BLUE) device is used in access control and safety systems to allow immediate release/unlocking of a secured door (often with fail-safe electric locks) in an emergency or when door egress is required. For example:

  • When occupants must evacuate a secure area, the blue release allows a manual override of locked-door systems
  • It helps meet egress / fire safety / access-control requirements by providing a recognized manual release station distinct from fire alarms (often the blue colour indicates ''door release'' rather than general fire alarm)
  • It may be used in interlock/man-trap systems, secure perimeter doors, server rooms.

  • Dimension : 120mm(H) x 83mm(W) x 35mm(D)
  • Voltage : 12 - 24V DC
